  • What is an Orthodox Daily Planner?

An Orthodox Daily Planner is for the faithful woman who wants to be organized and further her spiritual life. Throughout the planner there are quotes from Orthodox Church Fathers and Mothers. It includes both Gregorian and Coptic calendar dates that are easily accessible, and a monthly prayer guide to organize your prayers so when you're doing daily Quiet Time you don't feel overwhelmed and can look back to see how far God has brought you. 

The Orthodox Christian woman is graceful and understands her spiritual life isn't wrapped with a bow and that it comes with work. The Orthodox Christian woman is willing to put in that work and lift up her fellow Orthodox sisters along the way.

  • What is the Coptic Calendar?

The Coptic calendar, also called the Alexandrian calendar, is a liturgical calendar used by the Coptic Orthodox Church, a Church part of the Oriental Orthodox Church. This calendar is based on the ancient Egyptian calendar dependent on the solar year. Twelve months, eleven months consisting of 30 days and an additional 'short month', all totaling 365 days.

  • Why didn't you use Eastern Orthodox dates?

Here at JOT. Design, we happen to both be Oriental Orthodox and when we started creating the Orthodox Daily Planner we found we were more familiar with the Coptic Calendar. We also agreed that we wouldn't be giving the Eastern Orthodox Church sufficient credit to its beauty by not understanding and experiencing her for many years. We very much love our Eastern Orthodox family and hope that by including feast days and quotes of Eastern Orthodox saints we can show the true nature of the Church - a unified Body. "one Lord, one faith, one baptism." [Ephesians 4:5]

  • What size paper is the Orthodox Daily Planner?

The Orthodox Daily Planner inner pages are A5 5.8 x 8.3 inches.

  • What kind of paper is used for the Orthodox Daily Planner?

70 gsm / 56 lb paper is used for the 2021 Orthodox Daily Planner. As a note, if using a heavier sharpie it may bleed through.

  • Is there bulk pricing available for the planners?

Yes, we offer bulk pricing on more than 15 planners. Please email hello@doyoujot.com with your order quantity to get a price quote.

We will also be happy to provide a discount to our international supporters by offering a discount on a group purchase of 10 or more planners.

  • I live outside of the United States, can I still order a planner?

Yes! We are so happy you're interested! We ship internationally! Please note that all international orders incur a shipping charge and shipping may take up to 2-3 weeks. Due to various delivery challenges worldwide with COVID, your package may take longer to arrive. Your item may also be subject to duties in your home country after the arrival of your product.

  • Can I customize the planner cover?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any customization, however, there are stickers you can purchase to make it unique!

  • Who took the photograph on the website's front page?

So happy you noticed! Roman Robroek is the photographer who took and edited this photo. An award-winning photographer from the Netherlands, he is often known for snapping photographs of hauntingly beautiful buildings that have been abandoned. The photograph we have displayed is of a 19th century French chapel that is now abandoned.
